The Moon Represents
My Heart

Role: Exhibition design, exhibition identity
With: Herb Tam (curator), Andrew Rebatta (curator), Hua Hsu (curator)
Organization: Museum of Chinese in America

The title is the name of a popular Theresa Teng song and perfectly captures the ideas and themes of this MOCA exhibition. The visual identity for this show captures the intangible feelings evoked by memories of another time. The halftone pattern  create forms that look different, start to break down, and turn into something else as a person steps closer. Much like memory, nothing is quite what it seems and never stays the same.
